Progressive Techno-Design reached an agreement with BioPAS, Inc. to implement their biometric technology solutions in the casino industry. The innovative, patented technology developed by BioPAS, Inc. will provide new opportunities for player tracking, cash management, and overall monitoring of the whole casino floor. "We believe that very soon the biometric applications will become an inseparable part of the casino management systems supporting not only the day-to-day casino operation, security and surveillance, but also providing enhanced features to improve players' experience in the casino. We are working with BioPAS, Inc. and several casino equipment vendors on the development of a suite of applications, utilizing the biometric technology. The system is a unique and very innovative concept, simultaneously providing identity confirmation, while verifying that the individual credential has not been lost, stolen or counterfeited. The technology is smart card, fingerprint based but does not require storage of an actual fingerprint anywhere in the system. The basis of the concept lies in a unique "triangulation" between the individual, an ID card, and an account, authenticating the integrity of all three without the need to store sensitive personal information in database.
